Supra SS MP
This high-yielding Sorghum X Sudan Grass (SS) Multi-Purpose (MP) hybrid variety is a “one-crop does all” kind of crop. It’s very high in yield, coming in at 55 wet tons (@ 65% moisture University of California Kearney Sorghum and Sorghum X Sudan Grass 2024 Summer Trials). As well, farmers use it for a great 1-cut silage crop or a multi-cut haylage or dry-baled crop. A high leaf to stem ratio, with multiple tillers grown per plant, allows the plant to grow thick and heavy, allowing a farmer to maximize his acres from increased yields.

As well, this crop produces a sweet, highly desirable, palatable feed for your livestock which is highly digestable (NDFD 60-70%) which is similar to a lot of BMR varieties, although this variety is not BMR. As well, highly drought tolerant and very efficient on fertilizer.
